Down in the city streets, see all the folks go racin'.
So I had an opportunity to head out to Fire Island (for free) this weekend and chill on the beach, and I’ve decided not to. Those of you that have heard me wax poetic more than a few times about my love of the beach and the water and the sun and the sand will probably find this more than a little surprising. But what can I say. I’m a surprising guy.
Instead, I will be attending Turntables on the Hudson tonight, which I am incredibly psyched about. I haven’t been since last summer, and well, it is time my friends. It is time. Any New Yorkers that haven’t been to this great party must try to attend. Come find me. I’ll buy you a drink.
This will no doubt be followed by a massive hangover and exhaustion on Saturday, which will lead into a full day of work on Sunday. After which, I imagine a weekend spent lying on the beach will sound pretty damn nice.
