No es facil d’entender.
Watched Mulholland Dr. again this weekend. God, I love that movie. It’s just...stunning. Like most of David Lynch’s work, it kind of creeps under my skin and stays there, demanding my attention long after I’ve watched it.
I intend to write more about it later. But for now, I just wanted to say if you haven’t seen it, see it. The “Llorando” scene leaves me speechless every time. Like I said: stunning.
A word of warning though, for those not familiar with David Lynch as writer/director: after seeing this movie for the first time this weekend, my partner-in-crime asserted that he felt like he’d been “raped.” And he meant that as a good thing.
If that doesn't make sense to you, well, our possibilities for mutual understanding may be somewhat limited.

One of my all time favorites too, even though it confused the hell out of me. I understand more of it now after reading up on it, and I think I should totally see it again.
Of course, the whole girl-on-girl scene was erotic and got me goin' too. Sorry. But had to mention it.
:-)
I loved this movie. I haven't seen it ages, though.
